The New DG303 is here!
The new club single seater glider, a DG303 Club Elan, as pictured above, is now at Camden.
To fly the glider, you need to be rated to fly the Jantar at the minimum, and to have flown the DG1000 or the Jantar as pilot in command, in the last 90 days.
Any pilot who has flown from the front seat of the DG1000 will immediately feel at home in the DG303, as the cockpits are almost identical. In addition, the new aircraft will be fitted with the same instrument layout as the DG1000, making conversion and instrument training a breeze.
The glider, which has winglets and provision for water ballast has a glide angle of over 41:1, and will be a welcome addition to the club fleet.
For more details on the glider, see the manufacturer's web site, or the brochure.
