Getting to Southern Cross Gliding Club

Southern Cross Gliding Club is located at Camden Airport. The best way of getting to Camden airport (besides flying) is by driving. Public transport routes are availble although are a more difficult alternative.

Camden Airport is located on Aerodrome Road at Camden, which runs off Macquarie Grove Road.

Using public transport

Note: Using public transport to get to Camden airport isn't for the timid. There is about a 2km walk between the closest bus stop in the Camden township and Camden airport.

Don't forget to plan the reverse journey. The road between Camden Airport and Camden Township is not illuminated at night (it's passes between paddocks), so it's probably a good idea plan well ahead.
